Updated: Jan 16, 2023

In the next few weeks I will be putting out some information that will help prospective coin collectors on how to start, the typical what, where and how questions hopefully answered ...

Collecting Coins can be a fun and rewarding hobby. Here are a few tips to help you get started...

Research: Learn as much as you can about coins, including their history, mintages, and rarity. This will help you understand the coins you are interested in and make informed decisions when purchasing them.

Focus on a specific area: Decide on a specific area of coin collecting that interests you, such as pre-colonial coins, gold or silver coins, or coins from a specific time period.

Set a budget: Decide on a budget for your coin collection and stick to it. Coins can vary greatly in price, and it's important to stay within your means.

Buy from reputable dealers: Purchase your coins from reputable dealers. It's best to check for references and feedback from previous customers. (Like on this page https://evertbez.wixsite.com/beztcoins)

Learn about grading: Learn about coin grading and how it affects a coin's value. Coins in excellent condition will be more valuable than those in poor condition. (Check this out at https://www.ngccoin.com)

Join a club: Join a coin collecting club or society to connect with other collectors and learn more about the hobby.

Take care of your coins: Properly store and handle your coins to keep them in good condition. Coins should be stored in Albums and coin flips. Don't know what this is and where to get this from. See my Amazon affiliated links below ....
