These where from Dannhauser a former coal mining town in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.
Cattle and sheep farming take place in the district. The town of Dannhauser was named after Renier Dannhauser, a German settler, who purchased the farm Palmietfontein from the Natal Government in 1872. It was proclaimed a village in 1937.
These were in use around 1930. Fairly common but when you do get them try to get the whole set once of , buying one at a time will cost you more.
All tokens made of Brass with denominations from 5/- , 3/- , 2/- , 1/- , 6d , 3d and small 3d F&K , all tokens are Uniface. On it the letter K&F with denomination
Herns : 314a,314b,314c,314d,314e,314f with the small 3d F&K being 314g. Theron No: N6. Also Listed in Maynard's 1966 book of South African tokens. One of a handful of the first and only edition published in 1966 by the Africana Museum in South Africa. It is a bulky book weighing over 2kg and entitled "Tokens of Southern Africa. A Catalogue Based on the Collection in the Africana Museum". The 233 page book details the technical information of hundreds of tokens catalogued from the Africana Museum and Colonel J L Knobel's collections. The tokens are listed by South African state and include neighbouring states like Rhodesia.

EDIT - Got it , This larger 3d Token is relatively much more scarce than the rest of the K&F tokens ... Promptly over paid for it just so I can have the full set.
